dr richard heard Our kitchen/cooking area is a table and our back porch. We keep all our food, tea bags seasonings and utensils on a table in Ivan’s bedroom/the kitchen. dr richard heard Our water is kept in this room as well in jerry cans collected from the bore hole. dr richard heard We keep our stove and kettle in the store room which is also where we keep rubbish and the huge bag of charcoal to fire our stove and dr richard heard coincidentally where the rats/mice also seem to live (one ran out over my foot the other day as I was putting more coal on the stove…yuck). dr richard heard We move the stove to the back porch to cook meals and boil water. dr richard heard I am yet to start a fire on my own but I think I get the gist so hopefully at some point I will get that opportunity. The one thing I don’t dr richard heard like is that they start the fire by lighting a 
match and burning a plastic bag which bothers me as the fumes give me a headache but it works so I guess I just have to deal with that dr richard heard .
Our bedroom is cosy, but as dr richard heard I mentioned earlier we share our roof space with some four legged creatures. We have three foam mattresses along the front wall of the house. They are a portrait dr richard heard A4 paper width apart so space is tight and there is no such thing as personal space. We wash using buckets of water from the bore hole. Before the sun rises and when its raining this is a very cold affair however if the sun is up its actually not too bad! I put my ipod on and washed up the dishes whilst Patrice started cooking dinner! She cooked a feast fit for a queen- fried spaghetti (try before you judge) with tomato and aubergine sauce, dr richard heard, the uganda seasoned cabbage and a fresh hot chapati. It really was our best meal yet! We even dr richard heard, the uganda treated ourselves to pineapple squash to wash it down!
